I'm sure Lilith can come up with something that can prevent people from hacking and using bots, but you do have to keep in mind that it's a company, and they have to pay people extra if they work overtime. If you are in a good alliance and kingdom where people are willing to help when you need resources, then there's no need to spend money on resource packs. Yes, not all my legendary commanders are maxed, but other than that, I have no problem keeping up.
I've spent less than $100 and I'm at 46 million power. If you spend $8k to reach 40 million power, you're probably spending money on unnecessary things and bad packs. Nobody has told you to pay for anything, that's all on you. I never said that I didn't understand the frustration of cheating.
